The Dragon Sliding Scale
The Dragon Sliding Scale

I hover upon the abYssmall air.
I fly. I am the dragon called Dragonflew.
The air around me is not heavy.
I ate: not bread but meat.
I have a sliding scale upon my armour plated chest.
The one above my belly covering my heart.
I am certain the villagers will shoot me.
I traded places in the time transfunction with the other one.
I needed sleep. I was all in.
I avoided all unpleasentries.
They almost finished me but my wisdom overcame my plight.
They watched me from the silent workings of their minds.
TheY barred their teeth at me, I smiled.
I hovered in the air with four small wings.
I rotated them in figure fours to hover.
Look closer at the dragonfly when it begins to hover.
Eating meat but never bread.
You will see the armour plated cover slide away.
When they shoot me eye am dead.
